Houses

The Free School Norwich has four traditional houses named after birds with local associations: Woodpecker, Kingfisher, Marsh Harrier and Canary. Each child belongs to a house and works towards gaining house points for excellent progress and attainment during the year. Each house has a House Captain who is responsible for organising activities and competitions for additional house points each term. In addition to this, inter-house sports competitions take place throughout the year and a house sports day takes place at the end of the Summer term. A house cup is awarded to the winning house at the end of each year.
