Green Flag Award

The Free School Norwich is proud to have been presented with the Green Flag Award and praised for its commitment to the environment. The Green Flag Award is an internationally recognised mark run by Eco-Schools. It is given for excellence in environmental action and learning.

Principal Tania Sidney-Roberts said: “I am very proud of our children for working so hard and with such great commitment and enthusiasm towards this award. The children have had to make some key changes in their own lifestyles to help improve and protect the environment for the future. It is a fantastic achievement.”

Year 3 Residential Visit to Aylmerton

In March our Year 3 children undertook their first residential visit to Aylmerton Field Study Centre in North Norfolk.

The children were very excited about the visit, where they took part in team building challenges, a visit to the Henry Blogg Museum and Lifeboat Station in Cromer and exploring the beach at West Runton for Palaeolithic evidence of the Ice Age.

The children also enjoyed meeting Monty the python and other amazing animals as well as listening to stories on a night walk through the woods at Alymerton.
